Last Friday was the opening of Cimmerian, an exhibition in Brooklyn, NY at Gristle Tattoo and Art Gallery.  I’m extremely excited and pleased to have “Casey’s Smoke and Mystery” in this show. Happily, there were quite a few fellow Philadelphians exhibiting as well!

The show is centered around the greek mythology definition of the word Cimmerian.


1. Classical Mythology. of, relating to, or suggestive of a western people believed to dwell in perpetual darkness.”

Interpretations were vast, varied, and beautiful. Styles were much the same.
The exhibiting artists included: Ingrid Tusell, Encarni Diaz, Mothmeister, Donnie Green, Aunia Kahn, S. Jenx, Jel Ena, Dave Correia, Hanna Jaeun, JoKa, Jeremy Cross, Valentina Brostean, Megan Buccere, Peter Goode, Carly Janine Mazur, Kat Gun, Rachell Black, Buddy Nestor, Dan Bones, Brigitte O’Dowd, Suzanne Meow Meow Falk, Julianna Menna, Joy Rumore, Sam Ectoplasm, Joanna Chorny, Rachael Bridge, Steven Bradshaw, and myself.
